What’s So Funny ‘Bout Peace Love and Understanding (acoustic) by Nick Lowe

This version of Peace Love & Understanding (made famous by Elvis Costello) is incredible. Mr. Lowe was Costello’s producer for his first 5 studio albums and had wrote this song for his band, Brinsley Schwarz in 1974, only to be famously adopted by Elvis Costello in 1979. Though the Elvis Costello version is uptempo and has more of a rock and roll feel, I can’t help but prefer the tune in it’s most simplistic form of acoustic guitar and voice.
